M V Andrews Memorial eye donation Foundation has its functions centring Kottayam. The foundation gives voluntary services and support to people with visual disability.
The foundation started its functioning on August 16, 2007 by donating the eyes of M V Andrews Eravinalloor Mullothu, Muttambalam, Kottayam ( Retired teacher of PJMUPS, Aymanam) who died on that day. The recipients were two women who got eye sight and now leading a normal life. The foundation officially started on 25th of September 2007 on the 41st day of the demise of M. V Andrews.
